I want to say hi, I miss you. Here is me reaching out and connecting over the ether.
Some things!
Eliana Yoneda and I are hosting a first Thursday of the month BIPOC/PGM death cafe, first one of this virtual zoom series is tomorrow!
Death cafes are peer-led spaces where all things grief, death, joy, weirdness related to death, any thing that perhaps you’re even unsure belongs in a death cafe space are welcome in the space. Come, bring your cozy blanket, tea and snacks and make yourself comfortable, say things, listen to things, be in community. Link to sign up here.
An infographic from @ordergooddeath on Instagram regarding often exorbitant funeral costs, most people don’t know about this until it happens to them for the first time.
By the way did you know there may be state and federal assistance to help with burial, cremation, or other end-of-life expenses? I posted about it in my death account.

A podcast episode of two smart lovely people talking about grief in a way that felt very true to my heart.
When a loved one takes a photo of you mid-sentence talking to your kid, holding their colorful backpack and wearing your new old painted trench coat.
An interview I did with the inimitable Tanaïs for The Creative Independent is here.
